Six experts from Ekobit team attended Build Developer Conference in San Francisco and returned with new insights of Microsoft future development trends and technologies, also brought cool new gadgets.

Six Ekobit team members returned from Microsoft Build Developer Conference in San Francisco with a lot of impressions and a burst of updates from Redmond software giant announcing their future plans. This was the third Build conference, but the first to be held in the San Francisco area – also known as the Google and Apple headquarters location. The speculations are that this decision was made in order to reach a large base of developers who are building for Android and iOS. Sneak peek to some of the conference highlights included unveil of the preview of Windows 8.1, an update which refines the operating system without changing its character.  New update for Windows 8 comes with several changes to the interface, like bringing back the Start button, and changes that mainly relate to Modern apps. Now, if the two apps are on view, you can now size them as you like. Xbox Music also brings a new features and it is redesigned to focus more on music users so Microsoft's cloud storage SkyDrive is deeply embedded in Windows 8.1. and now it works offline ass well.

Impressions from the conference indicate that Microsoft in the future aims towards a shorter software and updates release cycles . This tendency was announced by Steve Ballmer, who said that shorter software release cycles are the new norm at Microsoft now. At this year Build edition, Microsoft gave to the all attendee two cool gadgets, an Acer Iconia W3 Windows 8 and a Surface Pro tablet, which made this mayor developers event even more valuable.
